Information We Collect

Send Your Wish List to a Friend

If you choose to use our website to send your wish list to a friend, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address.  We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site to review your wish list.  Icebreaker does not store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. 

Links to Other Web Sites

Our websites include links to other websites.  This Policy does not apply to linked sits and we are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices of those sites.  Any personal information you provide to a linked site is provided directly to a third party and is subject to such third party's privacy policy.  We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policies of any website you visit before providing any personal information.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Your Information Choices and Changes

You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails or emailing us at CS@Icebreaker.com.  If you opt out of receiving such communications, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your account, purchases or our ongoing business relations.

If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update or delete your information by making the change on our member information page, emailing our Customer Support at CS@Icebreaker.com or contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below.  We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Data Retention

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us at CS@Icebreaker.com.  We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Social Media Widgets

Our Web site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Twitter button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Notification of Privacy Policy Changes
