Excellent all round top
I have ben used to synthetic layers for mountain walking and casual cold weather use before but now i've discovered merino clothing I won't go back. I've worn this layer under a number of other types of layer and it is very warm, doesn't get sweaty even with waterproof layers over. The fit is very good and snug without being tight - I am slightly over the medium size but there's a bit of give in the fabric and it's very comfortable. I've seen comments about sleeves being too long - no, to me this is a bonus and the body length is good. This weight layer is really good combined with a mid layer if you are active; I haven't felt the need yet for a heavier one. Overall this is excellent clothing; I certainly will get more and would recommend them. OK so it's slightly more expensive but it's a quality product.

Performed During Cool Weather Marathon
I ran the Toronto Marathon in 3 hours with this on a cool, rainy, windy day. I was able to stay a perfect temperature through the myriad of conditions and am thankful for it.

THE Performance Layer
The Sprint series is my favorite performance layer from Icebreaker. I use it for running, hiking, biking, kayaking, and hopefully skiing sometime soon. The added lycra gives it an extra durability, so it looks just like new after several uses. It also provides a stretch and breathability making movement incredibly fluid. The optional thumb loops also add to this, as well as providing heat down through the hands when needed. Depending on how active you are and how much heat you build up, this top can be used in temperatures ranging from cool (lower 70's, F) to near freezing. I can't recommend it more. Note that this is the most truly "Bodyfit" layer I have tried from Icebreaker, so it will likely be skin tight; if you want to attempt to have somewhat of a looser/relaxed fit, order a size up. Either way, you'll be getting a solid performance layer from IB.

My new favorite shirt
This fits so well that I'm tempted to wear it every day. Since it never seems to develop any odor, I just might. I wear it as a baselayer when it's cold and when it's warm, and by itself. I'm not sure it dries as fast as other fabrics, but it never feels clammy.
The only negative I can think of is that the velcro on the sleeves of my jacket sometimes grab the sleeves of the shirt.

BC tested
Just got back from Whistler, used it as a base layer with Arc'teryx Atom LT Jacket as mid layer and Arc'teryx Sabre SV Jacket as outer shell. After 2 min of skiing had to take Atom LT Jacket off was extremely hot. Not as soft as I expected but kept me really warm.

Everyday Wear Quality
I bought this crewe back in December as a base layer to go under my work shirts. I love the qualities that Merino wool offers from comfort to concern. I work outside most of my day in motion. I'd like to see a line of the shirts and jackets longer in the body as I reach and turn constantly, but don't want to feel a draft enter up through my shirts where they've become untucked from out of my pants.

Great if you find your fit
Wonderful material, just still a tiny bit itchy for my sensitive skin, but in terms of function it is fantastic (wicking body moisture away). Stay dry all day long no matter how much you sweat. Fit is about a size small, example: I normally wear a large, but I went with XL and it fits like a large...or maybe even a fitted/stretch large or medium.
