Nice fit I have done long-distance running in these socks with much success. The thickness is perfect: as thin you can get without feeling like it won't hold up. I was worried the wool would be too hot for summers in the South, but it doesn't really seem to be an issue. I do wish they didn't ride up the ankle quite so high. I wear a size 9.5 and found the large to be a little too big, but the medium is just right. May 12, 2013
