Does what it is supposed to, very well
I have been looking for a better cool/cold baselayer for a while, and the Icebreaker Mondo was recommended to me. I used it for the first time twice in an early March (50 degrees) weekend as a baselayer for cycling. I love the way I just felt warmer than with other synthetic-material baselayers i have. It allowed my skin to breath, but kept me from getting chills or overheating. The temperature/sun caused me to sweat climbing hills, but with the zipper i was able to regulate some of that. Also, even tho it was somewhat damp from sweat, i still felt warm on descents and in valleys in the shade. This piece is not windproof, but it is an awesome baselayer.

Love this top
By far my new favorite! Comfortable, breathable and keeps me warm outdoors.
I'm slowly replacing my Helly Hansen and Under Armour base layers with icebreakers!! I'm recommending them to all my friends and getting them to switch over!

Great Base Layer
Very light, very comfortable and very warm. Beats under Armour any day. very flexible garment that moves and breathes with you. Would buy another any day

Very Functional
The Mondo Zip is a very functional top overall. Like the Oasis Crewe, this top is quite versatile and can be used in conditions ranging from near freezing temperatures (if you are moving a lot) to very warm temperatures (if you are not moving much). But in general, it is great for cooler weather activities. It feels soft and comfortable, dries quickly, takes a looong time to pick up any odor, and even insulates when wet. The 1/4 zip provides a little fashion and function variance off of the Oasis Crewe, and it is nice when it is unzipped if you need to vent some heat. The Mondo has also proven to be very durable and holds up in excellent condition after many uses, so as long as you follow the care instructions, it should be as good as new for a while. In terms of fit, the top is a tight Bodyfit piece, so if you are in between sizes, I would order one size up unless you like it really tight. Regardless, it performs well, and I will certainly be getting more in the future!

Superior Base Layer
This is an excellent bast layer of the highest quality. It is very warm but also breathes enough where you don't sweat. The style is also top notch. On moderate days I wear only this with a jacket and the wife love the look of it for the apres ski. Hard to beat top quality with stylish look. I've had three of these and all are still in great shape. They last for years and still look great.

warm at last
Instead of wearing tight silk long underwear, a cotton turtle-neck,
then fleece or a sweater try the Mondo zip! The zip makes it easy to get over the head and with the the neck warmth of a real T-neck. Someone suggested "expensive," but reasonable is more like it. Great gear is never cheap. My mall sporting goods store "base layer" is on its way to Goodwill.

Umbreakable.......
I tried this 200g/m and because it was big for me I washed it in hot water,put it in the hot dryer but it did survive .
Great quality for good value.
In 2008 for ,during the vancouver Sun Run ,10 km .
It was cold at 8 am .so I had my BF 200 black.
At the finished line ,I did arrive before 2 customers,a couple whom love running .
they were wearing the same icebreaker BF 200 black than me.
I did recomand to buy those 2 pieces to the couple, just couple weeks before the race .
we were 3 runners, wearing the same Icebreaker BF200 Black at the sun run finished line.

Warm and Comfortable
This is a little snug fitting as a bodyfit size but very comfortable. It is warm for it thinness and it there is no odor after 7 days of skiing and sweating. Icebreaker rocks!!!

Great Base!!
This is an excellent base layer. It is plenty warm while active or not. This is my fourth icebreaker product and I am becoming a big fan. No more stinky clothing and awesome warmth and feel. Only down side is how expensive they are but after you own one piece it's hard to justify going back to the synthetic stuff.

cozy warm and fits just right
As a christmas gift this was perfect. It fits snug but not tight. The purpose of buying this was for sailing on the Atlantic Ocean during the fall months when it gets cold, there is a lot of waves due to the storms and everyone else sailing seemed to have one of these which kept them warm and dry and didnt smell (which is key). Height is 5'8 and weight 170.
Can't wait to buy the pants....best investment besides the foul weather gear!

perfect shirt
this is a perfect shirt, I have 3 of them, just love it, wore it through-hiking on AT, perfect fit on the neck, the zip allows for good ventilation or zip it up for warmth

wish I had another
Consistent quality to be expected from Icebreaker, soft, color fast material that looks and feels good.
But...my only note would be that they have a difficulty in having a high neck on this sort of fabric because it kind of sags a little bit.
Also, the sizing, I am about 200 lbs, 6 foot 1, and I use a double XL. I have long arms and am buying so that my arms never get cold, but, I maxed out the fit on this, and if the arms shrink at all, its not going to be useful anymore.
By comparison, when I tried on the 260 LS Crewe Zip XXL it was roomy, almost too large and the arms were a good bit longer. I almost went with the heavier fabric just to make sure it would fit over time.
Im not fully convinced yet of the no shrink, and am looking for a little hedge on my investment.

Men's Mondo Zip
it feels warm and conformable. It is tend to be fit close to the skin but it is expected for a base clothing layer. It is very light so you can use all around the year. I wish icebreaker have a white color in their collection .

Good, not great
I'm a big fan of Icebreaker and own a number of their pieces. I purchased the Mondo Zip as I need something lighter than my go to Icebreaker Tech Top 260. The Mondo was great, but was tighter than I like and the sleeves a bit long. I gave it four stars as it was still a great top, and I used it a lot. However, since Icebreaker came out with the GT Series the GT200 has become my new favorite.

Excellent item: great fit, warm, sporty
The large shirt fits a range of body frames (5'10" - 6'), works well in a variety of conditions: use alone for light activity, layer for use in colder situations. The neck zipper can be slightly annoying but is useful to block out the wind. The fabric is comfortable as expected and does not smell even after several periods of extended wear. Finally, very fashionable for a sportier look or under a shirt or sweater, if that is what you are going for

Great weight, fit
Could be just a little longer in body, but sleeves are plenty long for 6'4". Very nice "hand", very comfortable next to skin.
